Case Energy Partners (“Case”) is a privately held investment holding company established in 2012 by Charlie Matter, focused on long-term ownership of oil and gas minerals and royalties. Over the years, Case has built a portfolio through its partnerships, guided by a commitment to creating long-term value. Though distinct, Case's investments are managed by its affiliate, Evergreen Minerals.

​In 2016, alongside Case, Charlie and two partners launched CEP Minerals and CEP Minerals II (collectively "CEP") as a separate, privately funded investment partnership. CEP operated as an independent platform, earning recognition as a leading acquirer, manager, and divestor of oil and gas minerals and royalties. Over its tenure, CEP completed over $120 million in transactions and received accolades for its accomplishments along the way. Having successfully divested all assets, CEP is no longer an active investment platform and has always remained legally distinct from Case.
